The town of San Vicente in Olango has fully recovered from the damage caused by dynamite fising and pollution. The San Vicente Marine sanctuary is now a beautiful eco-tourist destination and home of many sea creatures.
Man-made Wonder
Located between the ocean of Mactan and Bohol, Nalusuan Island used to be a big sandbar and eventually expanded to a 1-hectare man-made islet. Itʼs a marine-protected sanctuary so expect a lively underwater world.

Arrival at Movenpick port
Welcome to Lapu-lapu city! To begin the island hopping, we start by meeting up from the port behind Movenpick Hotel and take a boat from there. This will be a 30-minute ride to the first stop, so let’s get started.
Step2
San Vicente Marine Sanctuary
Dive in right off, upon reaching this great underwater spot. No need to go deep for an underwater world awaits right away in its shallow waters. There are snorkelling gear that can be rented, but it is safer to bring your own.
Step 3
Feast in the ocean
Let’s have some delicious feast while going to the next island. Feel free to bring your favorites or reserve for a lunch set from us. Enjoy the sea breeze as you eat in your lovely boat.
Step 4
Welcome to Nalusuan Island
This island is a marine-protected sanctuary and a resort as well. Recharge as you walk to its famous boardwalk, stroll around the whole island and continue your snorkelling adventure anytime you want.
Step 5
Back to the dock
Feel the sea breeze and stare into the horizon of the ocean one more time and enjoy this 1-hour boat ride going back to the port of Movenpick. Additional transpo services (if needed). Movenpick to ICM (Island Central Mall): 500pesos- 9pax per vehicle, 350pesos- 5pax per vehicle. Movenpick to SM Cebu City: 1,000pesos- 9pax per vehicle, 600pesos- 5pax per vehicle.
